Scripps Collections Tour - 2010 -
Together with Scripps Environmental
Advocates (SEA), we enjoyed an exclusive
behind the scenes tour of the Scripps
Oceanographic  Collections which contain
some of the world's most important
'libraries' of marine life specimens.  We were
all amazed at the vast variety of creatures,
the enthusiasm and brilliance of the
scientists who steward these collections,
and the incredible resource of ocean science
this represents in our own backyard! Thanks
to club member Blake Lawless for the photos.
